Though not of my galaxy, Norma somehow jetted into my in-box round about Christmas time of 2017, and there she lingered impatiently waiting for me to taste her charms. I did finally take the bait and can report that there was definitely no switch: her creatrix serves up a full-bodied romp through a ribald cornucopia of rogues and wenches, all of them garnished with dialog and banter that, to me, seemed just the right mix of realism and puckish fantasy. This book was an unexpected find and turned out to be so much better than I expected. The author spins a traditional sci-fi story but with an intelligent and nuanced erotic thread throughout. Loved the story, a Barbarella-ish heroine clashing with various villains, lovers and intergalactic once night stands and never felt the author's approach was heavy-handed either as a sci-fi yarn or steamy erotic thriller. Highly recommend...HBO or Showtime should look into this as a possible (late night) series!
